Fire Resistance

• ImpactStop was fire tested and certified by BRANZ in accordance with AS 1530.4 to meet the requirements of the National Construction Code (NCC) and contributes to Fire Resistance Level when used in fire-rated systems.
• Fire tested to achieve group number classification 1, the average specific extinction area less than the 250 m2/kg limit as defined by NCC.

Acoustic Performance

• ImpactStop can provide required levels of sound insulation to achieve specified acoustic ratings when used in an acoustic system. Refer to Systems+ manual for information.

Impact Resistance

• ImpactStop is subject to extensive hard body impact testing.
• Testing was conducted by a pendulum swing of a 100 mm diameter 4.0 kg steel ball on a 3.0 m axis against the wall specimen
• An example of hard body impact is a bump by a hospital trolley or an intentional kick to wall surface
